We make the traditional Mayan culture and art know World-Wide.

The hammocks we sell are all hand-woven by Mayan people from Yucatan in Mexico. The women work making hammocks in order to supplement their family income. As the work is done in their own homes they have the perfect work environment. They receive the materials and as soon as they are done weaving they are paid. This way both women and men can take care of their children at the same time. If they need a day off, they can do it - no questions asked. When they are done making the hammock, they hand it over to one of representatives who drive around the different villages collecting and paying.
